Terrazza Martini, one of the the most prestigious event venues in Milan<\/strong>, was chosen for one of the highlights of the opening of \u201cHumanity\u201d by Jimmy Nelson, the photography exhibition produced by Skira Editore in collaboration with the City of Milan, Palazzo Reale Milano, and Jimmy Nelson Foundation<\/a> and curated by Nicolas Ballario and Federica Crivellaro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sparked his desire to use photography to capture the faces and culture of indigenous communities at risk of extinction, until what had simply been a self-taught passion became a highly acclaimed and award-winning career recognized around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHumanity<\/strong>\u201d is the British photographer\u2019s latest project, in which he pays tribute to the beauty of humanity through 65 large-format photographs that depict the traditional customs and ways of life of 25 different countries\u2014and, in particular, some of the indigenous communities most at risk of disappearing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, his works have come to Italy as part of a special exhibition running through January 21, 2024, at Royal Palace, Milan<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was produced in collaboration with Skira Publishing<\/strong><\/a>, the historic publisher of art books and books about art, \u201c\u201dhistorical and critical rigor in the texts, graphic creativity, and constant attention to the technical quality of the images and the packaging\"<\/em>, founded way back in 1928 under the name Albert Skira-Livres d\u2019art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
